Job Overview:

WJB Bearings Inc. is a bearing company experiencing rapid growth in all markets. We are currently seeking an HR Specialist to perform functions:

- Follow and improve current Company HR work procedures.

- Manage the full cycle of payroll processing, including data entry, Timesheet and vacation reconciliation, and reporting.
- Maintain employee records and assist with benefit enrollment and questions, including insurances and retirement programs.
- Assist with hiring and exit, background check, job descriptions, pre-screening, exit survey etc. - Conduct interviews and assist with talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain qualified candidates
- Develop and implement affirmative action plans to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide other administrative support to upper management

Skills:
- Proficient in payroll processing

- Manage benefits administration for employees
- Familiarity with CA compliance requirements
- Excellent interviewing skills to effectively assess candidate qualifications
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Handle conflict management and resolution within the organization

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in human resources roles
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
